Today's agriculture has a greater demand for specialized farm equipment now more than ever with the increased amount of chemical application and the use of narrow rows. Many equipment manufactures have developed self-propelled and pull-type sprayers to meet the increased demands of chemical application. Keltgens, Inc. has been able to supply the needs of the customer with special Tall Tire packages for both single and dual wheel applications.

Many sprayers come equipped with a standard tire that does not meet the needs of some customers because they need tires that are taller and narrower, or duals to carry heavier weights in narrow rows. |

| The single wheels offered by Keltgens, Inc. are made from 1/2" and 5/8" spun disc material depending upon the application (3/4'' spun disc material is also available if needed). The spun disc adds strength to the wheel because the curve in the steel disc does not allow the wheel center to flex like a flat plate will, and it also makes the wheel more attractive, giving the wheel character.

Keltgens, inc. offers a kiss-together type dual package for pull-type sprayers, meaning that both wheels have an equal offset that meet in the middle, where the wheels are attached to the hub. The dual wheels can be built for various row spacings from 15" to 30" rows and various tire sizes. The wheels can be attached to the 10-hole hub on the sprayer by using the stud in the hub to bolt both wheels on. Another option is to use inner and outer budd nuts to attach the wheels. | Duals for self-propelled sprayers have been increasing in demand with the increasing size of sprayers. Keltgens, Inc. has Tall Tire dual packages available for many types of self-propelled sprayers on the market today. Due to physical limitations of the sprayers, we are not able to put duals on some models and we are also limited to narrow row spacings.
